KMET CEO’s New Year Message to Staff

The KMET family kicked off the New Year on a high note with encouraging messages from the Executive Director and the Deputy Executive Director during a morning devotion on Monday 6th 2014.

In a symbolic message, the CEO, Monica Oguttu accentuated the need to live each day with an aim of bearing fruit. The director shared a bounteous water melon that has been tendered within the KMET compound with over 80 staff present, each getting a piece.

Comparing the watermelon fruit with the results of daily staff undertakings, Monica challenged each individual to purpose on creating a positive impact in the community or at the workplace.

“For instance this watermelon is a thirst quencher for those of us who are constantly in the field and has a myriad of health benefits,” she said, adding on a light note that the fruit is a natural Viagra for those who would want to achieve increased male potency.

The programs manager and deputy C.E.O, Sam Owoko who spoke earlier, challenged staff to ensure they all set goals at individual level as well as at their respective working areas as this would help each person realise a holistic growth in the year 2014.

May you have a happy 2014 full of progress 🙂 !!!
